At Mr. Sumo, the sprawling buffet lineup invites you to explore a spectrum of flavors and cooking styles. Imagine selecting thin slices of succulent beef, tender chicken, or fresh seafood, then grilling them over charcoal barbecue or simmering them in your personalized shabu-shabu hot pot. Priced affordably at IDR 137,445 for the unlimited feast, Mr. Sumo allows you to take your time and savor each dish without the pressure of rushing. This generous pricing makes it an ideal gathering spot for families, friends, or a casual night out. It’s clear from customer reviews that many appreciate the wide variety of meats and seafood options, as well as the opportunity to self-cook, which adds an element of fun and personalization to the meal.
While the dessert corner at Mr. Sumo is quite limited and often quickly snapped up, this only heightens the thrill of grabbing a sweet treat before it disappears. Complimentary drinks like refreshing lemonade, tea, and Milo complement the savory courses perfectly, rounding out the meal with cool, comforting flavors.
The space itself is functional and family-friendly, although some visitors have noted room for improvement in the cleanliness of ancillary facilities like the bathroom and praying room. Nevertheless, the overall dining experience remains very positive, with plenty of customers emphasizing the restaurant’s value and cozy environment suitable for any occasion.
For those seeking a comprehensive Japanese dining experience infused with social and culinary fun, Mr. Sumo on Jalan Raya Margorejo Indah offers a flavorful journey that excites the senses and satisfies your appetite — all within an accessible price point that encourages lingering over plates piled high with grilling meats and steaming broths.

This restaurant serves an all-you-can-eat dishes ranging from a wide variety of meats Such as chicken, beef and seafood. You can either grill or boil them based on your likings. They also have a very small and limited corner of desserts that finishes every one second. So worry less if you didn't get the dessert because its really hard to get it. They also have drinks such as lemonade, tea, milo, etc. The restaurant is always full and you might even be on the waiting list, so i suggest you to reserve before going there if you dont want to wait. The other thing that they lack is the room temperature where its really hot especially when grilling the foods since you're right in front of it. There should be more ac provided or constant control towards the room temperature. Despite all of it, the price paid for everything was really worth it and i recommend this place for family gathering or just basic hangouts with friends!

I like it. There are plenty of food choices with relatively affordable price. From ready to eat to self cook food. Seafood, chicken, beef slice, offal, meatballs, dumplings and sushis, veggies, mushroom and even egg. The have also lots of beverages. The dining room is Ok, just need to improve cleanliness of the praying room and the bathrooms.

Cheap price (99k+tax) for all-you-can-eat resto. Many F&B options: yakiniku, shabu-shabu, cooked food, desserts, carbonated drink, juice, tea, mineral water, etc. The waiters are nice and helpful. However, it's unfortunate that the tables could'nt be moved (I came here with 8 other people, and we have to separate ourselves to sit on different tables). The place is narrow and crowded during dinner. Some walls are painted nicely, yet the lighting is not nice enough for us to take photos in front of the painted walls.

great place if you want to eat A LOT. Just make sure you don't eat anything beforehand; because you will be charged extra for leftover (not sure how much, we didn't have leftovers :p). There a variety of foods here. Beef, chicken, some seafood; I didn't sea fish though. Of course they have raw beef and chicken; but there are also cooked food, mostly chicken based recipes. The place itself is comfortable enough; but it was quiet hot in there as one of the AC was turned off for some reason (and of course because of all the grills they have in there).
